Motorist finds dead man under vehicle

A motorist who pulled into a service station in Lincoln Park early Thursday morning found a dead man wedged beneath her vehicle.“The driver pulled into the station at Outer Driver and I-75 about 1 a.m. because she had trouble steering and there was a body underneath,” Lincoln Park Police Lt. Robert Steele said.The investigation was turned over to Detroit Police because the incident is believed to have happened in the city, Steele said.The Detroit Police Fatal Squad is investigating, but the public information office said that no details were available.Steele said the young driver, who was not identified, may have run over the man while he was lying in the street near Schaefer and Annabelle in Detroit. It is not known if the man was already dead when the driver ran over him.

My friend's dad once drove us all the way to school with a garbage can under his car. It made a hideous noise the whole way and there wasn't much left of it when we got there. He never stopped to check and see what it was until then. I guess he was in a hurry.
