- Daryl was home.
- The time change (very awesome).
- I got a new coat for my birthday.
- We got a new rake (not for my birthday, but just in general).
- I had the best waitress ever at Max & Erma's.
- Sweetums learned to 'hump'. Is there a better word for this? Sorry to be offensive, but it is what it is.
- There was a guy sitting in his car outside our house putting on makeup for about 15 minutes. He appeared to be neither gay nor a clown. Weird.
- I made chip dip and it was so good with my chips.
- I went to Borders and spent my gift certificate. Bookstores make me happy.
- Barkley and Sweetums got to play with Elsie, Pepper, and Jazzy all in one weekend.
- Uncle Tom was in the Free Press. Look at his picture:

About This Weekend
I was going to call this blog "Fun Things About This Weekend," but then I realized that fun is in the eye of the beholder.

Whew -- You scared me for a minute when you said "Uncle Tom was in the Free Press." Wasn't sure at first which "Uncle Tom" or if it was good or bad. There's just too many of those Uncle Toms around. Glad it was one of the other Uncle Toms & good stuff.
You went where and bought what??? A week before your birthday??? You're just like your father! Just remember what happened to him when he came waltzing into the house with gifts for himself right before Christmas. Sure, he still laughs, but after the big chase, the crash in the hall, and the wrestling match, he's the guy that ended up with the Big Christmas Bruise. You might want to open your birthday present while wearing your running shoes. I'm just sayin.
Daryl BOUGHT me the coat for my birthday. I didn't buy it.
