Duncan has finally been born and I am finally feeling well enough to blog again. Babies take up a lot of time and I'm really bad at typing one-handed, so I guess the blogs might be few and far between for a while.
I know you all like updates, so I wanted to tell you that my foot blog was right on the money because my feet got a lot worse. Swelling and a rash...oohhh...ahhh.... I had three dermatologists come to look at my feet while I was in the hospital and they didn't know what was up and finally one of them said, "Let's go back and Google it." Nice to know all that medical school teaches them to access Google when they're confused. Aren't there like medical books they can look in or something? Or at least a doctor website? Google? Really? Luckily, the doctors must have guessed right and given me the right medicine because my feet are almost back to normal. I would never have guessed my pregnancy and labor and delivery would lead to such dramatic foot problems.
Duncan is the most beautiful baby I've ever seen and I'm pretty sure he's the smartest and the strongest too. Of course, no one would call me an impartial judge. But, in case you want to see for yourself, here are some pics. Once I get a cord for the video camera, I'll add video too. (Something to look forward to, I know).
